<Esher High Street, Road Cyling test event>

I live in Surrey, and was excited when I heard a few months ago that the Olympic road cycling event will run through my home town. As part of the preparations for the 2012 games, a series of test events are taking place this summer. On August 14th, the London - Surrey cycle classic took place and ran on the route they plan to use during the actual games. I went to a section of the race through Walton On Thames and then later drove to nearby Esher and photographed a second section of the race there. I understand that Britain, Mark Cavendish went on to win the race. May he have the same luck next year.
