This was my fifth occasion photographing the action at London Chess Boxing club, it's always an event I look forward to, and I have the privilege of being ringside for the action. From my vista I can feel the energy and atmosphere, sometimes quite literally, and I've had to dodge out of the way of boxers on the ropes on quite a few instances. I hope you'll enjoy my photographic account of the fights, my aim is to tell a story through them and depict this new sport in the way it deserves to be portrayed; a battle between mental agility and physical strength, resulting in an exciting and engaging sporting event.
